I Bike London love cycling. These guys want to help encourage more people to cycle in London. They believe cycling is a fun and healthy way to get around the city, which benefits the environment at the same time. They regularly organise bicycle rides in London.
I Bike London rides are free for everyone, with no need to register you can just arrive and take part. You do need to bring your own bicycle. They carefully choose various routes around London where you can discover interesting places and take in great views. Their rides are not particularly long, often between 20 – 25km.
Each ride normally includes a couple of breaks, sometimes in places where you can buy stuff, sometimes not. So it might be worth bringing along some of your own supplies, and try and head to the loo before the ride starts. Rides often end at a pub or other social event : )
Zig-zag across along the Thames, crossing bridges and exploring the Thames path. The ride will be accompanied by music bikes pumping out tunes as they bring the Bike Party to the river!
The ride will be at a relaxed pace, all abilities are welcome! Bring food and drinks, but there will be stops along the way where you can buy something. See you there!
Meeting point: Underneath Waterloo Bridge, SE1 8XT
Leaving time: 2pm
Route: relaxed pace, all abilities
Check out the I Bike London for more information about their rides (past and present).
