Brixton Cycles

The founders of Brixton Cycles are Tim, Tom, Paul and Nancy. The idea to set up their own bike shop was born on a ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats. After bemoaning the quality of the existing places available they chose to start their own.

What make Brixton Cycles different?

Brixton Cycles is a co-operative society, meaning that everyone that puts in gets something out. In addition, it is all for the purpose of continuing rather than profit. They have gone through massive upheaval over the past few years relying on donations from the general public to save their shop. All because they want to keep offering the services their customers have come to know and love.

Where can you find Brixton Cycles?

On Brixton road, right in the heart of their community. You will also find them out and about over the summer months at various events across the area.

What do they do?

Sell bikes parts, offer servicing and repairs, run a bicycle club and above all else a friendly welcome.
